When construction company Wilmott Dixon was tasked with creating a new headquarters for Merseyside Police in Liverpool, Cube7 Interiors was on hand to provide and install the best quality glass partitions and doors.

The £48 million 137,000 sq ft building was completed in October 2021 and houses 1,000 officers and staff.
The project
This was Cube7 Interiors’ second project with Wilmott Dixon for Merseyside Police after completing work on their Edge Lane station.
It was important that the new building met the demands of modern policing while also being flexible and adaptable for the future.
So, for this project, we provided Cube Blue Single Glazed Partitioning, Cube Blue Double Glazed Partitioning and Nuclear Glass Doors to give a clean, sleek, modern look.
The products
Cube Blue single-glazed frameless glass partitioning is a great way to allow light into a space while effectively providing protected workplace zones when privacy is needed.
Available in either straight lines, facets, or sleek curves, Cube Blue’s maximum glass and minimal framework give a frameless glass wall effect and were perfect for Merseyside Police HQ.
In addition to our single-glazed partitions, we also provided our Cube Blue double-glazed screens.
As with our single-glazed product, our double-glazed frameless partitioning gives the illusion of vast areas of unsupported glass while providing excellent acoustics, making it ideal for meeting rooms and breakout areas.
The partitioning is easily installed and can incorporate integral blinds controlled on manual turn nobs or automatic switch/remotes blinds.
To complement the glass partitions, we also installed our Nuclear Glass Doors.
The Nuclear Glass doors are a 10-12mm clear toughened glass door leaf complete with a wide variety of door ironmongery.
It’s available as a frameless glass door or with a perimeter framework. The Nuclear glass door integrates with all our partitioning systems to give a flush glass wall look.
Our frameless glass doors use patch fittings to hang off the adjoining glass side screen or a solid structure, while the framed glass doors offer higher acoustics, and the frameless glass leaf sits within our 38mm aluminium door frame.
