BAM’s £15 million rejuvenation of the hospital has created a new main entrance and state-of-the-art tower block. Our glass doors were perfect for the hospital, giving a modern, efficient and contemporary feel with improved access.
The Project
The work is part of a more considerable £22.5 million investment for the ongoing refurbishment of the whole tower block and improvements to the emergency department.
Our £150,000 collaboration with BAM saw us provide and install two different glass door products:

- Double glazed glass door designed to give maximum sound performance (41dB) whilst still offering a visually appealing glass door.
- Made from 2 x 6.4mm acoustic laminated double glazed unit, bonded to our aluminium surround
- Comes with a number of options on handles, locks and closures.
- Available in single or double doors with a maximum height of 3000mm and width of 1100mm per door leaf.
- Compatible with integral blinds, manifestation, switch glass, automatic openings and maglock access control.
